I Love Bees
OK, this should scare the hell out of you. I heard rumor that this is a disguised PR site for the new X-Box or something. [Editor's Update Mar 2007 - S'all true!] If you aren't paranoid now, you will be after a casual browse of this site. It reminds me of the personal ads in the back of the City Pages that read:
"Johnny, the check is in the mail. Love Karen" You KNOW that is a secret communique for the Illuminati, right? Thanks to R. Scoble for the link.

Blow up your computer
Pointed out to me by Lockergnome, the guys at www.weblowitup.com will take anything that bugs you and blow it up real good for the modest fee of about $100. Check out the video of monitors and computers being destroyed HERE I don't think they will take DMV clerks or ex-girlfriends/boyfriends, and I offered them $200 to blow up the guy who came up with the Arbys Oven Mitt Promotional Campaign, but they wouldn't do that either.

Gothic Name Generator
From now on, call me Beautiful Disgrace. My new goth name bestowed on me by the online Gothic name generator at http://www.necroticobsession.com/gothname.html Just for fun, I tried a couple other folks:
My Father: Demonic Angel
My Mom (Maiden name): Latex Freak
My Cat: Bitter Beauty
My Boss: Angeldust
My Friends: Beautiful Scars, Beautifully Decayed, and Kittie Corpse
the rest came back too disturbing (To me, not to you) so check yours out, and let me know if you get any good ones.

The Return of Doctor Who
BBC is bringing back the cult TV show, Doctor Who. Some janitor cleaning out the prop room probably ran across the three Dalek props (I don't remember ever seeing more than three at one time) and threatened to throw the damn things out unless they actually used them.
Like James Bond, it is trendy to be illogically loyal to one particluar actor playing the part and minimize (if not chastise) all others, as if one actor embodied the quintessential uber-personification of the character. No doubt Tom Baker was the most memorable (most likely due to the scarf) but I did like Peter Davidson better. (even if he chose to wear celery as an outfit acouterment.)
My suggestion: keep the props and minimize the temptation to use CG effects. Keep the show campy and low-budget, otherwise you will turn off your "target market" who will, in turn, turn YOU off.
Exterminate!

Big Brother Driving Monitor
Stuff like this has been under construction for a long time now. I'm surprised we haven't seen it yet. But it won't be long till all motor vehicles will be equipped with 'black boxes' to record position, speed, etc. Is this a good thing?
I would say it's not quite enough. The 'black box' under consideration would only record data, much like aircraft. I think it should transmit live data to sattelite for instant Big Brother monitoring.
You know those S.O.B.s in S.U.V.s driving as though possessed by the ghost of Dale Earnhardt who swing back and forth on the highway as though the other vehicles on the road were pylons? Wouldn't it be great if Big Brother Computer In The Sky could instantly shut down their vehicle, cell phone and checking account, while dispatching a robot to kick their ass? And then, do the exact same thing to the morons who slow down to watch! One step closer to paradise if you ask me.

Movie Trailer: Batman Begins
Check out the trailer for yet another chapter of the Batman Saga, to be released Summer 2005. I really haven't cared for any since the first one, this one goes back to the start of Batman as a punk rich kid. I have always liked the Punsiher character better, he seemed much more real to me than the crime-fighting-tea-drinking-classical-music-listening-cave-dwelling Batman. And the Punisher didn't have such ridiculous looking vehicles... But, I will admit the Batman movies are all better than the Punisher's, which is a shame.
