ARTS OF DARKNESS

There’s no denying that these are dark times. The darkness surrounds us constantly, clouding our vision like oil-smeared sunglasses. Yet there are certain people who are able to see through it,  in spite of it, to better things.  Using a talent that is part Blessing and part Curse, they take the darkness and twist it back upon itself, making it into words, music, video, motion…  Arts of Darkness.

THE SHADOW OF APPROVAL

I want the people with those talents to know that they are appreciated. With that goal in mind, I devised the Shadow of Approval as a small token of my esteem for those who make the world a cooler, darker and better place than it deserves to be.

SUBMISSIONS

Anyone can submit a person, website, event, music, graphic, video, or other work of art to be considered for the Arts of Darkness Shadow of Approval. Those who recognize the work of other artists, or enable other artists to create or promote their art are also eligible.

Submissions should be sent to zero at conradzero.com for consideration.

Submissions will be reviewed and judged on several factors; including how much they contribute to the Coolness, Darkness, and Artistic Originality of Planet Earth. (In other words, Zero simply picks his favorites.) Bribes and flattery will not improve your chances of winning.

WINNERS

Winners will be notified by e-mail, and a list of winners will be posted on this page: www.conradzero.com/artsofdarkness.  They will have earned the right to post the official Arts of Darkness Shadow of Approval on their website.
